Jack Della Maddalena continues to rapidly strengthen his position in the world of mixed martial arts. Born September 10, 1996 in Perth, Australia, he has been involved in sports since early childhood, starting with rugby. In his teens, under the influence of his older brother Josh, he switched to boxing, and later devoted himself entirely to mixed martial arts. Since 2016, Maddalena has been performing in the professional arena, having participated in Cage Warriors, the Dana White Contender Series and UFC tournaments. Today, he is the current UFC welterweight champion and is ranked eighth in the pound-for-pound rankings.
Jack made his UFC debut on January 22, 2022, at UFC 270, where he confidently won via technical knockout in the first round. Since then, his career has developed rapidly: victories over Ramazan Emeev and Danny Roberts earned him his first Performance of the Night bonuses. The Australian quickly gained a reputation as a finisher, capable of ending a fight early thanks to his precise strikes and ground game skills.
In 2023, Jack's winning streak continued: he defeated Randy Brown, Bassil Hafez, and Kevin Holland, regularly receiving cash bonuses for outstanding performances. These successes allowed him to consolidate his status as one of the most spectacular and productive welterweight fighters. In March 2024, at UFC 299, Maddalena knocked out Gilbert Burns and extended his winning streak to 17 fights in a row, demonstrating a high level of preparation and stability in the octagon.
